FIAF Congress 2025

The Cinémathèque québécoise will host the annual congress of the International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF) from April 27 to May 2. Since 1938, FIAF has brought together the world's leading institutions dedicated to film heritage. Its annual congress is a key event for professionals in the field of film conservation and archives, who share their experience and expertise. It's a unique networking opportunity for members of the film industry! The event will include a symposium on the theme “Film Archives Beget Films”, where some thirty speakers from here and abroad will take part in two days of conferences. Several exhibitions, screenings and activities are also on the menu.
