Since its very first improvisation match on October 21, 2021, the Ligue Nationale d’Improvisation (LNI) has continued to promote, both locally and internationally, the unique discipline it created. Having brought improvisation to screens and stages at major theatres and festivals throughout the 1980s and 1990s, the LNI has remained at the forefront into the 21st century. Today, with over 500 annual activities, the Théâtre de la LNI launched in 2023 L’Usine de théâtre potentiel at Espace Libre, where each performance consists of a single 90-minute improvisation shaped by key elements selected by the audience via an interactive digital platform.
