Festivals
This multidisciplinary festival showcases the work of artists from Asia and its diaspora. Founded in 1995, it is the oldest Canadian festival dedicated to highlighting Asian artistic creation and takes place in May during Asian Heritage Month in Canada. Promoting a wide range of disciplines, it features visual arts, dance, theatre, cinema, music, literature, new media and culinary arts. Beyond its May programming, the festival also organizes artistic events during the Week of Action Against Racism in March, as well as a traveling festival, Fleur de lys, Fleur thé, which presents the work of Asian Canadian artists across Québec throughout the summer.
