Virginia MacDonald & l'Orchestre national de jazz

Orchestre national de jazz de Montréal 2024-2025 season will end on a high note with young clarinet virtuoso Virginia MacDonald.

She will be performing the world premiere of Jean-Nicolas Trottier's Virginia Suite, written expressly for her, along with other pieces of her repertoire.

Virginia has performed at all the major jazz venues in Toronto, and recently toured Europe. She is one of the few jazz musicians to remain true to traditional jazz music. Her mastery of technique is superb, but what will captivate you is her artistic and intelligent expression in her solos.
