Noria, Djaffar Aït Menguellet, Menad HarkatA Living Celebration of the Kabyle SoulFar more than a concert, this Kabyle all-nighter will be a heartfelt journey through Amazigh memory, poetry, and creation. Through three artists, three singular paths, and a shared passion for cultural transmission, Club Soda will become, for one night, a meeting place where ancestral songs enter into dialogue with the sensibilities of today.Noria, guardian of the traditional Kabyle repertoire, will carry the ardent breath of this all-nighter. A highly active Kabyle singer on both the Algerian and international stage, Noria has made her mark through a powerful voice and a captivating stage presence. She is notably known for her heartfelt tributes to the great figures of Kabyle song — including Matoub Lounès — as well as for her own compositions such as Tamettut and Serh-iyi, titles that illustrate her deep attachment to the Kabyle language and identity. An artist grounded in her time, she will initiate this journey with the grace and intensity that define her, reminding the audience with every note of the enduring power of ancestral transmission. The magic continues with Djaffar Aït Menguellet, one of the most distinctive Kabyle artists of his generation. Son of the legendary poet and singer Lounis Aït Menguellet, he grew up at the very heart of the Kabyle poetic tradition, introduced from childhood to the flute and synthesizer by his father. A composer above all else, mastering some ten instruments, he writes his own music while leaving the lyrics to his father Lounis or to the poet Si Moh. This creative partnership gives birth to songs of remarkable harmonic richness. From his early albums centred on love to his third opus Tirga n’laâ qal (Dreams of Wisdom), in which he addresses the ills of his country and its youth, Djaffar charts a personal and demanding path. Beneath his hands, Kabyle melodies are adorned with finely crafted arrangements, weaving a bridge between the Djurdjura mountains and the modernity of Montréal.Finally, Menad Harkat carries within him the soul of a Kabylia in motion, suspended between memory and renewal. First a guitarist, then a vocalist with the group Debza after having founded Iskra, he has shaped over the years a musical signature deeply rooted in Amazigh culture. Based in the United States since 2016, he continues a journey that makes the voices and stories of his heritage resonate far beyond borders. Blending Berber sounds, folk accents, and Mediterranean influences, Menad crafts generous, inclusive music. His warm presence and infectious energy promise a closing set powered by emotion, festivity, and shared joy.For one night, the voices of Kabylia will resonate far beyond the walls of Club Soda, carrying with them the echo of a culture that is proud, generous, and profoundly universal.-----People with reduced mobility: Places available for people with reduced mobility are limited.
