For the curatorial research axis What Exhibition Does to Books, Lynda Gaudreau was commissioned to produce a new piece inspired by photonovels. Dissecting and reassembling the elements of this pop literary genre, the artist draws forth details that disrupt its usual narrative continuity. The photonovel is thus reconfigured into a choreographic space in which texts and images tumble out of sync.
