By adopting strategies akin to visual ethnography, the trio multiplies perspectives on the modernization of Iran, its rural regions, and the families witnessing their industrialization. Archives and image-making apparatuses become playgrounds and sites of subversion as much as catalysts for encounters, from which the artists conduct an autopsy of a territory.
