Keeping silent cinema alive, by offering audiences a chance to rediscover films from the era with the accompaniment of talented pianists, is an essential component of the Cinémathèque québécoise's programming. In May, catch The Man Who Laughs by Paul Leni, telling the story of a disfigured child condemned to a life as a freak show attraction. The film will be accompanied on the piano by Gabriel Thibaudeau.
